More games are coming to Xbox Game Pass for October 2021

If you needed another reason why you should subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft is giving you plenty this October.

Microsoft continues to widen the gap between the Xbox Game Pass and other subscription services. After what was an already extensive list of new games that were added to its library in the first half of October, Microsoft is beefing up its catalog even further with a handful of games to end the month.

Arc System Works' Dragonball FighterZ is one of the best video game anime adaptations in recent memory.

Meanwhile, Microsoft's Age of Empires IV is coming to Xbox Game Pass just as October ends on October 28 with the standalone expansion, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, also coming on the same day, just in time for Halloween.

What's next for Microsoft and the Xbox Game Pass?

Forza Horizon 5 alone makes Xbox Game Pass a steal.

In recent weeks, Microsoft has added Scarlet Nexus and Marvel's Avengers to the Xbox Game Pass. However, if you've been following Microsoft for a while, you'll know that this isn't surprising.

Microsoft has positioned the Xbox Game Pass to be the difference-maker for this console generation. So far, it's working. Even though Sony still has the upper hand when it comes to first-party titles, which is a major reason why the PlayStation 5 is the best-selling console in the United States, it's hard to deny the appeal of the Xbox Game Pass.

With even more games like Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite set to join Xbox Game Pass in the coming months, as confirmed at E3 2021, you might want to consider buying an Xbox Series S/X for the holidays.
