Sensei Miyagi is the strongest character in the Miyagiverse

Cobra Kai's creator just confirmed that there's no one more powerful in Cobra Kai than Mr. Miyagi.

The Miyagiverse is a budding entertainment universe that's currently composed of the original Karate Kid films as well as the ongoing Cobra Kai series on Netflix. Throughout the years, the martial arts films and series have seen their fair share of tough characters. However, according to Michael Schlossberg, none of them can even hope to match up to the OG himself, Mr. Miyagi.

TLDR; Pat Morita's Mr. Miyagi is the GOAT.

Mr. Miyagi and Master Kim is above everyone else

Morita's death in 2005 means that he'll never get to see more of the cinematic universe that he helped spawn.

When fans asked the Cobra Kai creator in a Q&A session to rank the characters in brains and brawn, Schlossberg instead named Mr. Miyagi and Master Kim as the strongest characters in the Miyagiverse. He added that everyone else is below the two individuals. However, Schlossberg did name the five smartest Cobra Kai characters, saying that the former best friends, Demetri and Hawk, are both at the top followed by Ali Mills and Silver with the all-new character, Devon, rounding up the top five.

Unfortunately, newer fans will never get a chance to meet Mr. Miyagi. His actor, Pat Morita, died long ago in 2005 due to kidney failure. While his memory lives on as he is frequently mentioned by his student, Daniel LaRusso, especially when LaRusso traveled to Okinawa, Japan, it's still sad knowing that he'll never make an appearance, even if only for a cameo.

If it's any consolation, Master Kim might still be alive and well. John Kreese's karate master has never appeared in any Karate Kid media before and was first mentioned back in The Karate Kid Part III.

In other Cobra Kai news, anticipation for the series' latest season is at an all-time high. Back in September, the series creator confirmed that there are multiple spin-offs based on Cobra Kai and the Karate Kid series in discussion, with Netflix dropping a trailer soon after. Meanwhile, in late November, Jon Hurwitz confirmed that they're already almost done filming Season 5 of Cobra Kai.

It's safe to say that fans can expect to see more Cobra Kai in the future, with Season 5 coming in much earlier after Season 4 drops on December 31.
