Miss Minutes fan account gets Ryan Reynolds’s attention and sets off rumors

Miss Minutes fan account and the Ryan Reynolds’s account on Twitter exchanged a few tweets that have fans buzzing.

Miss Minutes
Deadpool 3 is still years away but fans are hanging on for every news about the film they can get.

A Miss Minutes fan account on Twitter, @MissMinutesTVA, recently tweeted at Deadpool’s official Twitter account, and the interchange that followed sparked rumors of a Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover between one of Loki’s major antagonists and the Merc with a Mouth.

The fan account tweeted, "Hey there @Deadpool Love, Miss Minutes". And to the surprise of many, Reynolds, the Deadpool actor, responded, "Hello, Miss Minutes." The original tweet already has more than 50,000 likes which gave wind to the rumors. However, the fan account shut down these rumors when responding to another Marvel fan who asked if she will feature in the forthcoming Deadpool film. In its words, "Nah, just saying hi to the neighborhood merc with a mouth."

While it is yet to be confirmed whether or not Loki’s TVA will feature in the forthcoming Deadpool film, Reynold’s tweet could signal that the TVA could feature in Deadpool. The reason is that Reynolds could have completely ignored the tweet but he didn’t. Instead, he responded in a manner that suggests there is a possible connection between both worlds.

The idea that the TVA will appear in Deadpool 3 is an exciting one as it provides the latter’s creator with varying benefits. It presents the perfect opportunity to get Deadpool into the MCU and, at the same time, gives writers free rein on how to move through the MCU. It also enables the show’s creators to integrate Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine into the film without tampering with the Logan storyline.

Further, Deadpool 2’s post-credit scene showed Deadpool altering the multiverse in an attempt to time travel and change the past. This makes Deadpool a target for the TVA due to his actions creating new branched timelines.

Miss Minutes is a sentient Time Variance Authority (TVA) clock mascot that was created by Kang the Conqueror, also known as He Who Remains, to observe and assist the TVA. The TVA is a bureaucratic organization that exists outside the bounds of space and time, with the sole purpose of monitoring the Multiverse’s timeline.

Aside from being a mascot, the artificial intelligence performs numerous duties, which include communicating with TVA field agents and incarcerated Variants and spreading the TVA propaganda. It also serves as the liaison between He Who Remains and TVA’s Judge Ravonna Renslayer.

Deadpool 3 will see Hugh Jackman reprise his role as Wolverine but will it also see Miss Minutes?

Miss Minutes made its first MCU appearance in the TV series, Loki, and was voiced by Tara Strong. While her relationship with He Who Remains is unknown, it was revealed that she knew that the character created the TVA after the Multiversal War. It was also revealed that she knew of He Who Remains’ true purpose for creating the TVA.

Loki is an action-adventure, crime thriller, and superhero film that was created by Michael Waldron. It follows an alternate version of Earth 616’s Loki after he is transported to the TVA as a time variant. When a bigger threat looms, the TVA asks the god of mischief to help fix the timeline to avert the threat or risk being wiped from existence.

The show starred Tom Hiddleston, who reprised his role as Loki, while Jonathan Majors made his MCU debut as He Who Remains. Gugu-Mbatha Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Sasha Lane starred as Renslayer, Hunter B-15, Casey, Mobius M. Mobius, Sylvie, and Hunter C-20 respectively.

Deadpool 3 will be the franchise’s first film since the Disney takeover and the first MCU project with a mutant lead in Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. Meanwhile, a report suggests that Owen Wilson will reprise his role as TVA Agent Mobius in Deadpool 3. It is scheduled to release in theaters on September 6, 2024.

Also, Loki Season 2 started production in June and will debut on Disney+ sometime in 2023.
