Meet Your Maker to make its debut on PS Plus in April

The new game by the Dead by Daylight studio will be available to play on day one on the PS4 and PS5 for PS Plus subscribers.

Sony occasionally secures day-one titles for the PlayStation Plus. This doesn't happen as often as with the Xbox Game Pass but still.

Meet Your Maker could be the next big multiplayer hit for Behaviour Interactive.

Case in point, last year's Stray. The feline-led open-world cat game was a GOTY nominee at The Game Awards last year. And, oh, we can't forget about Tchia, which will be available on March 21 and we're pretty sure critics will love it. We can't say if the next one will do well with critics. At the very least, it's coming soon.

Sony confirmed that Behaviour Interactive's "building-and-raiding game", Meet Your Maker, is a release-day freebie on Plus on April 4. The best part is that it's playable on both the PS4 and the PS5.

Meet Your Maker is a first-person single-player game with a fun multiplayer mechanic and co-op. Your goal in the game is to stockpile resources, acquire Genetic Material, and protect your outpost at all costs. But, be warned, your outpost will be vulnerable to attacks from other players. This is why it's important to plan out your outpost properly.

If it helps, you can watch the replays of other players' attempts to learn from what they did. Also, you can do the same with theirs as well, as you choose between three unique loadouts as well as an armory of guns and close-range weapons.

Meet Your Maker is also coming out on all modern platforms aside from the PS4 and the PS5.

Speaking of the co-op gameplay, Meet Your Maker lets you rope in a friend to help you build and raid outposts. You know what they say, two heads are better than one, and that's probably the case in a game where it's eat or be eaten.

Unfortunately, Meet Your Maker is most likely going to take up a slot in April's PS Plus Essential lineup, so expect Sony to only announce two more freebies before the month ends. In the meantime, subscribers can redeem the PS Plus lineup for March, which adds Battlefield 2042, Code Vein, and Minecraft Dungeons.
