Mayans MC Season 4 trailer teases all-out war with the Sons of Anarchy

The ongoing feud between the rival gangs has escalated to an all-out war in Season 4 of Mayans M.C.

Throughout its first three seasons, Mayans M.C has never been afraid to crossover with the original show, Sons of Anarchy. However, judging from what we've seen in the latest trailer for Season 4 of the spin-off, the next season might dial things way up to 11.

Season 4 of Mayans M.C. will premiere on April 19.

In the official trailer for Mayans M.C. season 4, FX used atmosphere to set the tone for the show's upcoming season, instead of specific clips and sequences. Specifically, the Mayans' design scheme, a face superimposed with a skull, is front and center with a heavy focus on a brawl between the Sons of Anarchy and the Mayans to the tune of Heads Will Roll.

FX's Sons of Anarchy was one of the network's top shows for most of its run from 2008 to 2014. The gun-running motorcycle club's adventures often saw them at odds against the Latin motorcycle club, the Mayans, which eventually got its own spinoff in 2018.

The events of the series pick up over two years following the Sons of Anarchy finale with J.D. Pardo cast as the show's lead, EZ Reyes. Since then, numerous Sons of Anarchy cast members have reprised their former roles, either as guest characters or new main cast members.

"Heads Will Roll," by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is the perfect soundtrack to the brawl shown on the trailer.

Judging by how the official trailers for FX's shows don't tell what's exactly going to happen in the season, we wouldn't be surprised if the brawl is a euphemism for the show's most interconnected season yet.

One way of looking at the Mayans M.C.'s latest trailer is that Season 4 will feature the most cameos. Naturally, fans shouldn't expect to see Charlie Hunnam's character outside of maybe a flashback as his character, Jax, committed suicide in Sons of Anarchy's finale. The same goes for long-time Sons of Anarchy characters who met their demise such as Ron Perlman's Clay Morrow, but we're certainly not ruling out Kim Coates' Tig Trager as he's probably still the VP of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original (SAMCRO), Charming, California charter.

Speaking of FX, the cable network recently renewed Fargo for a fifth season.
