Marvel Future Fight is a superhero-themed action mobile RPG developed by Netmarble Games and published by Netmarble Monster. The game was released on April 30, 2015 and it was based on the famous super heroes and super villains from the Marvel Universe. It is technically a spiritual successor to the very popular Marvel Avengers Alliance published by Playdom that was available on Facebook until 2016.
In the story mode of Marvel Future Fight, the plot starts with an urgent message from the S.H.I.E.L.D.'s very own director, Nick Fury, to get the characters of the Marvel Universe prepared for an oncoming threat. To start the game, players will form a team from any of the available Marvel characters. From Iron Man and the Avengers to Wolverine and the X-Men and everyone in-between, they can be added to your teams with more being introduced with each game update.
Marvel Future Fight players can gain gold and crystals by defeating enemies, completing missions and daily challenges. These are used to buy items from the in-game shops, such as alternate uniforms to boost their characters abilities and change their cosmetic appearance. Energy is the most essential resource in the game and it can be obtained simply by waiting. Energy is restored by 1 unit every 5 minutes. Players may also buy energy by using real money through the game's micro-transactions. Players in Marvel Future Fight can join Alliances with other players to gain bonus XP and rewards from completing the Alliance-only missions.
