Mark Walhberg joins Kevin Hart for some much-needed Me Time on Netflix

Netflix's Me Time will mark the first time that these two A-list Hollywood actors work together.

Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg are two of the biggest stars in Hollywood, and both have recently appeared in separate Netflix films. Wahlberg's most recent Netflix film, Spenser Confidential, is set to get a sequel that will reportedly premiere sometime in 2022. Meanwhile, Hart has released everything from documentaries to comedy specials, and even starred in movies like Fatherhood for the streaming giant.

It's surprising that Wahlberg and Hart hasn't teamed up before Me Time.

Now, these two Hollywood A-listers are set to star in Me Time.

When is the premiere date of Me Time on Netflix?

Hart's most recent Netflix film, Fatherhood, hit No. 1 in 82 countries.

After playing a single-dad in Fatherhood, Deadline confirmed that Hart will play the same role in Me Time. However, instead of being a single parent, Hart is a stay-at-home dad this time around.

Exhausted from spending all of his time with his family for years, Hart finds himself wanting some "me time" while his kids and wife are away on vacation. He decides to phone his former best friend, who will be played by Wahlberg, to spend an entire weekend together.

What starts as a father looking to blow off some steam ends up changing the life of Hart's character completely.

In addition to starring in Me Time, Hart will produce Me Time under his production company, HartBeat Productions, as part of his Netflix deal. Meanwhile, the upcoming comedy film will be directed and written by John Hamburg, who previously worked together with Kevin Hart in Night School.

What’s next for Hart and Wahlberg?

With no premiere date for Me Time confirmed, it's safe to say that it will be a while before we see the film premiere on Netflix.

Until then, you can watch Wahlberg and Hart in several films that both have lined up for the next few months.

Wahlberg is set to star in Sony Pictures' live-action adaptation of Uncharted and faith-based drama film, Stu, which required Wahlberg to dramatically gain weight. Meanwhile, Hart can be seen next in Sony Pictures' The Man from Toronto and Eli Roth's live-action adaptation of Borderlands.
