Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs The Usos at WrestleMania 39 is official

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn had a well-received promo in the most recent episode of Monday Night RAW where they called out The Usos.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are officially in the mix for the unified tag team belts.

The March 20 episode of Monday Night RAW opened with a segment that saw the official reunion of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. After a brief promo about how far they've come, The Usos came in and ruined the fun. This is when KO challenged The Usos for their unified tag team titles at WrestleMania 39, which the defending champs promptly accepted. Shortly after, the two factions brawled in the middle of the ring. Things escalated to the point of everyone grabbing steel chairs before the officials came out to break things up.

And, just like that, one of the more obvious matches for WrestleMania 39 is now official.

In an alternate reality, we would've been legitimately looking at a potential Sami Zayn vs Roman Reigns matchup with Cody Rhodes still sidelined by an injury. But, with The American Nightmare's compelling story about finally achieving his life-long dream, Zayn will have to "settle" for a tag-team match.

Make no mistake, The Usos vs. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens is the real storyline draw in Los Angeles.

The Usos have been tag team champs for 611 days and counting.

Fans who've been invested in the WWE for the better part of the past year saw Zayn try to fit into The Bloodline, going from outsider to making friends with the dominant stable of the WWE today. Then, Zayn felt betrayed after realizing Reigns was just using him. Jey Uso drove the point home earlier this month on the March 6 episode of Monday Night RAW. Now, he's but a man who's lucky that his former friend is willing to help him out.

We've still got a few weeks to go before the Show of Shows, so look forward to the WWE building up hype and excitement for the upcoming tag-team match.

It's still worth wondering what's going to happen after WrestleMania 39. After all, once The Bloodline crumbles following their expected title losses, what's next? Are Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens going to reign as the tag team champs? If so, for how long? Sami Zayn, in particular, has earned himself a spot at the top of the WWE, so what about him? Is Zayn going to challenge for the unified title belt next once Rhodes presumably walks home as the WWE's top dog a few weeks from now?

Roman Reigns gave Jey Uso a pep talk in the same episode of Monday Night RAW.

These are all questions that fans are excitedly waiting to get an answer to and this all starts at WrestleMania 39 on April 1 and 2 at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
