Kevin Nash is a gigantic figure. He stands 2.08 meters tall, or roughly around 12 full-sized bananas, and would fit perfectly when cast in a role that calls for someone of his size. This is why fans are excited at the prospect of seeing the two-time WWE Hall of Famer play the role of Herman Munster in Rob Zombie's The Munsters.

Herman Munster is the patriarch of the Munster household.

Is Kevin Nash confirmed to play the role of Herman Munster?

Given his stature and height, Kevin Nash would only be a foot shorter than Herman Munster's listed official height.

Herman Munster served as the family patriarch of a clan of non-threatening monsters, effectively serving as a satire of the monster created by Victor Frankenstein.

The character debuted in the 1964 comedy series, The Munsters, and was played to great effect by the late Fred Gwynne. However, contrary to popular opinion, the series only ran for two seasons long.

What gave the The Munsters such a lasting legacy is arguably the numerous TV specials, reboots, and film that has been released based on it since.

Ironically, the 1981 revival series, The Munsters Today, spanned three seasons, which is a season longer compared to the original 1964 series.

Having said that, Zombie is working on a revival of The Munsters. In fact, the prolific filmmaker recently took to Instagram to share the first clay face sculpts of Herman Munster. Right around the same time, Kevin Nash had a sit down with Steve "Stone Cold" Austin on WWE's The Broken Skull Sessions with Steve Austin where he talked about his interest in playing as Herman Munster in the upcoming The Munsters movie.

Landing Kevin Nash for the role of Herman Munster for The Munsters movie would be huge.

Of course, for that to happen, the role would have to be available. Considering that there is already a clay face sculpt, an actor might have already been tabbed for the role. If not, then the film could gain the talent of one of the more successful WWE superstars to make the transition to the big screen.

Nash has appeared in numerous movies like Magic Mike, John Wick, The Punisher, and The Longest Yard. He most recently appeared in Chick Fight, which was released in 2020.

At the moment, there's very little information available on The Munsters. We know that it is confirmed, as per Zombie's Instagram post in June, but other than that, all we have to go on are rumors. This includes talks about it being a Peacock exclusive or that it would star Sheri Moon Zombie and Jeff Daniel Phillips.

Here's to hoping that Zombie starts revealing more about The Munsters soon.
