The John Wick movies are best known for their unending action sequences, with the formerly retired assassin racking up a massive body count of 299 kills throughout the first three films. But, while fans weren't left wanting for more action before, Keanu Reeves is promising that the upcoming fourthquel will be even more packed with action.

John Wick star Keanu Reeves promises that the fourth installment of the series will have even more action and include a huge car action sequence. The actor revealed to Total Film magazine that John Wick: Chapter 4 is physically the hardest role he has ever had in his career. That’s saying a lot as the actor is known to do his own stunt sequences.

"John Wick: Chapter 4 has the most action of any of the [John Wick] films, which is saying a lot," Reeves reveals. "And it's more by a good margin. It's a big show."

Reeves adds, "John Wick: Chapter 4 was the hardest physical role I’ve ever had in my career so far. They really trained me up to be able to have what we call the toolbox."

Reeves has undergone tactical weapons training for the movie’s lengthy gunfights. Most recently, Reeves had to hone his skills in stunt driving for John Wick: Chapter 4 as the movie will have a show-stopping "car-fu" sequence.

"We took the car-driving to the next level, which I really enjoy," Reeves shared. "There’s 180s, forward-into-reverse 180s, reverse into-forward 270s, drifting… So it was really fun to get a chance to learn those skills, and to play."

The addition of renowned Hong Kong action star Donnie Yen as Canine has upped the ante for the stunts in John Wick 4 as well. Yen's character is an old friend of Wick and a former assassin.

According to stunt coordinator and second unit director Scott Rogers, Yen "brings 'master level' fighting abilities" to the upcoming film.

"He is not an actor that you have to train for each specific fight," Rogers said of Yen. "He is a great actor who is also a trained fighter. His ability to enhance the choreography through his own creativity is world-class. When you add that to the many years of John Wick training that Keanu Reeves has invested, you end up with something very special."

A fight between John Wick and Canine should be exhilarating, to say the least. Even Reeves is excited about the upcoming movie.

"John Wick: Chapter 4 is our opus," Reeves states. "Oh my god, it’s crazy, man! It’s banana cakes!"

We won't have to wait for long to find out if Keanu is exaggerating or not as John Wick: Chapter 4 opens in theaters on March 24.
