Jonah Hill celebrates body positivity with new tattoo

In recent years, the comedian and actor has been more vocal against body shaming.

For years, Jonah Hill was the stereotypical funny beefy guy. He was often typecast in roles where he was the chubby one of the group, as is the case with his roles in movies like Superbad and Knocked Up, among others. However, in recent years, Jonah has become more and more vocal against naysayers and critics who played a role in body-shaming and making him feel insecure over the years.

Jonah Hill has lost a lot of weight in recent years.

Now, he's sending everybody a message of self-love with his fresh ink, which he posted on Instagram.

The new tattoo shows a yellow circle on his shoulder with the words "Body Love" written and a hand sign that appears to be similar to the Body Glove brand logo.

He posted the photo with the caption "BODY LOVE 🤘❤️," which garnered a lot of supportive comments from friends and family. His mom, Sharon Feldstein, commented "I love this and you," while Zoë Kravitz also commented, "Yessssssssssss." in support of the 37-year-old actor.

What's next for Jonah Hill?

Jonah Hill looks vastly different in his most recent photo.

Back in 2018, the two-time Oscar nominee wrote in his magazine, Inner Children, "I became famous in my late teens and then spent most of my young-adult life listening to people say that I was fat and gross and unattractive."

Three years later, the Wolf of Wall Street actor posted on Instagram that he had finally learned to love and accepted himself after "years of public mockery about my body by press and interviewers." following a story where The Daily Mail published photos of the actor going shirtless while having a fun time out in the sun and surfing.

Now, it appears that Hill has finally truly learned to love himself. The fact that he's confident enough to post a photo of himself shirtless on his social media account speaks to the success of his self-love journey.

Here's to hoping that Hill's journey continues on the same path and that he inspires others to love themselves more.

As for when we'll get a chance to see Hill next, he's set to star as part of the ensemble cast of the 2021 black comedy film, Don't Look Up.
