One of the longest-tenured Marvel Studios stars, Jeremy Renner, is on the mend following a snow-plowing incident that left him in a "critical but stable" condition.

Deadline reports that the Hawkeye actor was airlifted to a nearby hospital on Sunday as a result of injuries sustained from the weather-related accident. The source confirms Renner is currently with his family and he's now "receiving excellent care."

The 51-year-old actor is one of the few actors who starred in the original Avengers film in 2012 that are still part of the MCU. Renner most recently reprised his role in a trio of MCU shows and films last year, appearing as Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye, in Black Widow, What If...?, and Hawkeye.

It's unclear when Renner will return to the MCU.
