We know that James Gunn is working on another Peacemaker season. What we didn't know is that he's working on more HBO Max shows.
Here's what Gunn revealed about his upcoming HBO Max projects:
We actually are working on a few different shows. I'm working on like three new shows now with HBO Max network in various phases of development, but you know, the heart and soul is, of course, Peacemaker.

Peacemaker was a resounding success for the DC Extended Universe and HBO Max. John Cena is now confirmed to be returning for one more DCEU movie and another Peacemaker season. Since then, we've heard rumors of what's coming after Peacemaker, which includes a Viola Davis-led Amanda Waller spinoff series, among several others.
At the end of the day, we should find out more about what Gunn has planned for the DCEU in the next few months. In the meantime, The Guardians of the Galaxy director will return for his fourth and final MCU film in next year's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which just finished filming. Before then, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will premiere on Disney+ in December.
Speaking of the DCEU, the Peacemaker has the last high point for the superhero cinematic franchise. After it ended, we've heard everything from David Zaslav and his plan to overhaul the DCEU and how the DCEU will kick out Ezra Miller after The Flash premieres next year. And, oh, it appears that Miller's antics have cost the DCEU at least one eight-part TV series. Hopefully, Black Adam can deliver on the hype after we watched its latest trailer. If not, it will be a long wait for the next "good" DCEU project for fans.
