The good news is that there is a way to switch weapons faster in Apex Legends. This is not necessarily a "cheat", but keep in mind that swap time in Apex Legends depends on what kind of weapon you have on your hand. For example, it is faster to switch from a Wingman to a Devotion compared to the other way around. Basically, it is faster to switch from smaller weapons to bigger weapons in Apex Legends.

Apex Legends training puts you in the shoes of Bloodhound as you learn the basics of the game. Unfortunately, there is a bug with Apex Legends training where the "Switch Weapon" box does not tick off even after you switch weapons multiple times.
