How to Merge Fortnite Accounts Across Multiple Platforms

One of the greatest conveniences of modern gaming is that a lot of online titles now support cross-platform gaming.

Arguably, thanks to the efforts of Epic Games with Fortnite, a lot of developers are now making cross-platform gaming a priority instead of an afterthought. But, while having cross-platform gaming is nice and all, cross-platform progression is another story all throughout.

Luckily, that's also something supported by Fortnite.

Read on below to learn how to merge Fortnite accounts across multiple platforms so you don't have to switch accounts whenever you play on a different platform.

How to Merge Your Main Fortnite Account

It's nice to be able to play with your friends on the Xbox Series X when you're out and about playing on your Nintendo Switch.

It'd be even nicer though if you didn't have to switch accounts whenever you play on a different platform.

What most people don't know is that Fortnite actually supports this kind of feature. This means that you can keep on boosting those Battle Pass levels of yours, on your own account, regardless of which platform you are playing the game on.

How do you do that?

Follow our step-by-step guide below.

  1. Navigate your way to the official Epic Games website.
  2. Sign in using your main account
  3. Head on over to the "Connected Accounts" tabs on your account page
  4. From there, you should be able to see numerous options for you to connect to, including but not limited to, PlayStation Network, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and more.
  5. Select the platforms applicable to you.
  6. Once you've done selecting, sign in again for verification, and that's it.

After following the steps we enumerated above, you should have successfully allowed your Fortnite account to be used across all the other platforms you plan on gaming on. This also means that progress will now be shared, including your costumes, V-Bucks, and of course, your Battle Pass.

So, what are you waiting for? Merge your main account now and start gaming on every platform Fortnite is availabl!

Fortnite is currently in its 5th season and most recently saw the addition of DC' Comics The Flash as a skin.

Fortnite is a free-to-play title that's available to play on all major gaming platforms. This includes iOS and Android devices, as well as Microsoft Windows and Classic Mac OS desktops. It's also available for download on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
