Not only is Twitch a highly-successful streaming platform for gamers, but it also has a popular feature called Twitch Drops. Twitch Drops offers viewers exclusive in-game content, rewards, and other perks for simply watching their favorite streamers. Twitch Drops contain limited edition in-game items to virtual premium currencies, and everything in-between. The feature has become increasingly popular for gamers looking to enhance their gaming experience.
Hogwarts Legacy is one such game responsible for Twitch Drops and has been giving away their much sought-after in-game Cloak called Merlin's Cloak. Merlin's Cloak is a limited edition legendary-tier Cloak only obtained via Twitch. Avalanche previously received backlash for locking the Cloak behind Twitch and only making it accessible to those who watch streams on Twitch.
To get the limited edition Merlin's Cloak in Hogwarts Legacy, watch Avalanche's Hogwarts Legacy stream for at least 20 minutes on May 5, 2023, at 9 AM (PT).
Fortunately, Avalanche Software has given multiple chances to obtain the Cloak, and they are bringing it back. So if you haven't already obtained it, now is your chance.
Merlin's Cloak was originally available to get immediately before Hogwarts Legacy's launch and right after it was globally released for everyone.
Unfortunately, many players were left out of the opportunity simply because they were unaware of the stream schedule for their respective timezone or just forgot. But now is a good time to get back on Twitch and nab that exclusive Cloak to add one to your wardrobe collection.
To get Merlin's Cloak, you must tune into Avalanche's latest Hogwarts Legacy stream and watch for at least 20 minutes to be eligible to obtain the reward. Avalanche will stream Hogwarts Legacy at 9 AM (PT) on May 5, 2023.

Legacy Live on May 5 is a way for Avalanche Software to introduce the release of Hogwarts Legacy on PS4 and Xbox One, with the Nintendo Switch version scheduled for July 25, later this year. We're still unsure whether we will get another chance at the exclusive Merlin's Cloak, so it is best to snag it while you can.
