Win GTA$300K in GTA Online by joining the Sprunk vs eCola event

The Soda War of 2022 will likely go down in GTA Online history.

Wars and shootouts aren't foreign concepts to the Grand Theft Auto franchise. But, while we've seen our fair share of drive-bys, gang shootings, and mafia hits in older GTA games, this is arguably the first time that we've seen opposite factions collide over which drink is better.

It's fun events like these to make GTA Online so much more enjoyable than it should be.

Yes. You read that right. GTA Online is pitting the game's most iconic beverages up against each other with a sizable in-game cash reward up for grabs.

Sprunk and eCola, which are obviously inspired by Sprite and Coca Cola, are drinkable items in GTA Online. Most players never really gave a thought to which is better. Although if we're being technical, you could taste Sprunk at that pop-up Cluckin' Bell at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.

In any case, players now have a reason to try and fight for the superior drink. In addition to picking sides, Rockstar Games is rewarding players for participating in GTA Online's latest events.

Over the next three weeks, Rockstar will tally the votes until September 14. From now until then, players can buy Sprunk and eCola for free, store them in their inventories to use as health restoration items and gain points for each use. Once the event is over, Rockstar will reward all GTA Online players with $300K of in-game cash and more goodies with designs inspired by the winning drink.

Keep in mind, only those who've joined the side of the drink that wins will get a reward.

In other news, a recent rumor suggests that Rockstar might be preparing to tease GTA 6 in GTA Online during an upcoming but unconfirmed Halloween event.
