Goldberg was one of the most prominent fighters during the boom of professional wrestling. Despite being one of the strongest and most dangerous wrestlers, Goldberg reportedly gets nervous any time he has to speak in front of a crowd.

In an interview on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast, AEW's Maxwell Jacob Friedman, also known as MJF, took a dig at the legendary wrestler, saying:
If you're a Jew, you love MJF. Because, if you think about it, I'm really the first prolific world champion that just so happens to be Jewish in the history of the business that is good at talking and wrestling. [I] love Bill Goldberg to death, but [if] you put a mic in front of his mouth, he kind of has a bit of a panic attack.
The current AEW World Champion, who has previously been described as "part heel, part tool ... and part goodfella wannabe" is known for his radical opinions on social media. Though Goldberg is more than twice his age, MJF didn't shy away from taking a shot at the only man in history to have been the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and WWE Universal Champion.
While he may be a rising star in the current wrestling era, MJF still has a long way to go before he can criticize a wrestling icon like Goldberg.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of response Goldberg will give to MJF's comments. The last we heard, he's more than ready to get back up into the ring. Although most are expecting Goldberg to appear in the WWE, it wouldn't surprise us if MJF's comments strike up an AEW feud between the two stars.
