Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an upcoming action-adventure superhero game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. It is set to be released on February 2, 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
Being developed by Rocksteady Studios, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is officially the fifth installment in the Batman: Arkham series and set in the same universe, though there may be continuity differences with the previous Arkham stories. The main characters are based on the DC Comics super-villain and anti-hero group, the Suicide Squad.
Plot and location
The game is initially set in the city of Metropolis and it takes place five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. Players follow the Suicide Squad, a team of super-criminals formed by Amanda Waller, and it consists of Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark, as they deal with an apparently mind controlled Justice League.
Amanda Waller sends the Suicide Squad to Metropolis and they are tasked to save the Justice League including Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Batman and Wonder Woman, from being brainwashed by Brainiac and stop him from destroying the world.
While it is unclear how the Suicide Squad will deal with powerhouses like Superman, based on the title itself, there may be branching paths depending on whether the Squad frees each member of the League or chooses to kill them instead.
Gameplay
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League features the single-player mode and the co-op multiplayer mode with up to four players. Players will take control of the four Suicide Squad members: Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark to explore different areas in Metropolis and fight against Brainiac and other enemies. As a single-player campaign, players can team up with the AI controlled characters and they can switch between them.
Each member of the Squad has their own movesets in combat and requires mastering these skills. They will also have access to six types of weapons that can be customized such as assault rifles, SMGs, sniper rifles, shotguns, miniguns, and handguns.
Harley Quinn equips her signature bat and focuses on her acrobatic attacks and can swing between buildings. King Shark is a tank specialist who wields heavy weapons and can massively hit bunches of enemies. Deadshot equips his jetpack to perform aerial combat and gives aerial fire support to other members. Captain Boomerang wields his signature boomerang with a speed force gauntlet that allows him to teleport through areas fast by throwing a boomerang toward the intended direction.
It is likely the game will have a form of collection sub-game, like the Riddler trophies from Batman: Arkham City.
Visuals and other features
The game features voiceovers including the late Kevin Conroy, who reprises his iconic role as Batman, making this game one of his last official appearances as the Dark Knight following his death in 2022.
Other voice actors confirmed for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League include Tara Strong, Susan Eisenberg, professional wrestler Nuufolau Joel Seanoa (aka Samoa Joe), Bumper Robinson, Debra Wilson, and Daniel Lapaine.
As of February 2023, the pre-order bonus is supposed to be the Suicide Squad's classic costumes.
