Ahead of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’s debut in movie theaters next month, Disney has announced that the first four films in the franchise, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull are all arriving on Disney+ in a few weeks. All four will be joined by the 1990s TV series, The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones, which chronicles the story of the character's early life.

Disney made this revelation during its upfront event on Tuesday where it announced the release date of Loki 2 and Echo, the Hawkeye spinoff that stars Alaqua Cox in the titular role.
The announcement comes barely a month after the entertainment conglomerate released a new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny at the Star Wars Celebration in London.

At the moment, the first four Indiana Jones films are only available on Paramount Plus. The reason for this is that, even though Disney’s 2012 acquisition of Lucasfilm gave the House of Mouse rights to future sequels, Paramount retained the distribution rights to the first four films.
However, Disney was able to reach an agreement with the studio that will see the four films head to its streaming platform. We currently don’t know whether both streaming platforms will host the titles or whether, after they move to Disney Plus, they will no longer be available on Paramount Plus.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will see Harrison Ford reprise his role as the titular character. John Rhys-Davies, whose last appearance in the franchise came in 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, returns as Sallah. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, Mads Mikkelsen, Toby Jones, Thomas Kretschmann, and Boyd Holbrook will also star in the forthcoming film.
James Mangold, popular for Ford v Ferrari, Logan, and Walk the Line, directs based on a script by himself, David Koepp, John-Henry Butterworth, and Jez Butterworth. Simon Emanuel, Frank Marshall, and Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy produce.
Ford will next star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross. His first appearance as the character will come in Captain America: New World Order, which is set for release in 2024.
In other news, Ford’s Dial of Destiny co-star Antonio Banderas is open to a reboot of his 1998 action film Mask of Zorro. The Puss in Boots actor made this revelation during a press promotion last November.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will arrive in theaters on June 30.
