Usually, Xbox Game Pass announcements don't happen until the month rolls around. But Microsoft had a special occasion a few days ago, announcing a brand-new action game called Hi-Fi Rush, which was immediately released on the subscription service. Alongside it, we got a sneak peek at the other titles coming to the platform towards the end of January and early February.

As we mentioned, Hi-Fi Rush is already available on the Xbox Game Pass, for both PC and Xbox Series X users. The remake of the iconic GoldenEye 007 is arriving on the platform on Friday, January 27, and is available on the Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, and other devices through Xbox’s Cloud Gaming, a subsidiary of Xbox’s Game Pass Ultimate.
Finally, Roboquest is arriving on all consoles on January 30 while Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition will be available on Cloud and consoles the very next day.
Two more titles will come to PCs, Cloud, and consoles on the last day of January: Inkulinati and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to enjoy Darkest Dungeon and Grid Legends on February 2 via Xbox’s Cloud gaming. The former will be available on consoles and PCs as well, ahead of the major entry coming on February 7. Hot Wheels Unleashed: Game of the Year Edition will bring the ultimate racing experience to all console and PC users through Xbox’s February Game Pass.
As with everything in life, to make room for new additions something must be removed from the Xbox Game Pass.
For next month, these games are leaving the Game Pass:
- Contrast – February 3 (Console, Cloud)
- Edge of Eternity – February 10 (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Skul: The Hero Slayer – February 10 (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Infernax – February 10 (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Total War: Warhammer III – February 17 (PC)
- Galactic Civilizations III – February 24 (PC)
Losing Total War: Warhammer III might be a tough pill to swallow but the Xbox Game Pass still offers a bevy of attractive options. The Total War series from Creative Assembly might be one of the biggest strategy series in the world, but it will probably be overshadowed by Xbox’s major upcoming releases such as Starfield. Xbox users that have preordered Hogwarts Legacy can already download it, as other titles suffer setbacks due to Microsoft’s massive layoffs.
Speaking of the recently concluded Developer Direct, several first-party Xbox studios showcased upcoming games for the flagship gaming console by Microsoft such as Forza Motorsport and Minecraft Legends. Finally, it was revealed during the event that all but two of The Elder Scrolls Online DLCs will be free to play for a limited time.
