Fast X gets final trailer ahead of release

The latest Fast X trailer sees Dom and the crew perform several gravity-defying stunts as well as cheat death multiple times, as per usual.

We are just a few days away from the theatrical release of Fast X and Universal Pictures has just released the final trailer to hype fans more.

The newest trailer brings audiences on a trip down memory lane.

Fast X is being advertised as the penultimate film for the long-running movie franchise. The latest trailer shows off some of the high-octane action sequences that fans have been accustomed to with the series.

The final trailer for Fast X recaps the events of the two-decade-long movie franchise. The teaser brings audiences back to the events of the first film where Dom and Brian turn from street racers to hijackers. The trailer shows scenes from previous movies as it ties Dante’s character to the events of the previous movies.

The video showcases the death-defying stunts that the crew performs that violate the laws of "God and gravity." The trailer promises that the "days when one man behind the wheel of a car can make a difference are over."

Dante will be Dom’s biggest nemesis in the Fast and Furious franchise. Jason Momoa’s character plans to break up the Toretto family by hitting them where it matters most. The crew will do whatever it takes to protect the family.

Dante is seeking revenge for the death of his father during the events of Fast V. The movie may tie up all the loose ends from the previous movies including a farewell for Paul Walker.

Fast X will see the return of Dwayne Johnson to the franchise. The actor has had a real-life beef with Vin Diesel resulting in Johnson being absent for F9. Johnson will reportedly be appearing in a post-credit scene in Fast X.

The cameo for Johnson means that Universal is setting up a bigger role for his character in the final movie. Hobbs and Shaw may have one final run in Fast X Part 2.

The latest trailer brings a sense of nostalgia to the upcoming film.

Interestingly, Vin Diesel recently teased the possibility of having a three-part finale bringing the movie count to 12. The actor revealed that Universal is exploring the possibility of a trilogy to end the franchise.

"Going into making this movie, the studio asked if this could be a two-parter," Diesel said during the premiere of the movie in Rome. "And after the studio saw this one, they said, could you make Fast X, the finale, a trilogy?"

"It’s three acts in any story," Michelle Rodriguez adds.

Fast X arrives in theaters on May 19, 2023.
