Elden Ring Steam page goes live, now available for wishlisting

It looks like Elden Ring won't be an Epic Games exclusive, after all.

It's no secret that Epic has been willing to throw around absurd amounts of cash in order to secure titles for its digital games distribution platform, the Epic Games Store. So far, it has managed to make big AAA titles like Hitman 3 and Assassin's Creed: Valhalla exclusive to the EGS. Because of this, fans were worried that Epic would once again do the same thing to Elden Ring, FromSoftware's upcoming game.

It appears that Elden Ring won't be exclusive to any digital games distribution platform on the PC.

Now that the Elden Ring Steam page has gone live, it's safe to say that the game is going to be just as accessible as FromSoftware's previous titles.

What are the PC requirements to play Elden Ring on PC?

Elden Ring is easily one of the most hyped games over the better part of the past decade.

Elden Ring is FromSoftware's next potential franchise. The game has been hyped for as long as it has been in development. In addition to FromSoftware, Elden Ring also boasts some serious pedigree as its story was reportedly penned by none other than George R.R Martin, the author of A Song of Ice and Fire, which served as the source material for HBO's Game of Thrones TV series.

It wasn't until E3 2021 that fans finally got a solid look at what to expect from Elden Ring, and learned when it would release.

With a January 20, 2022 release date confirmed, fans had another thing to worry about: whether or not the game would be exclusive to the Epic Games Store.
