Techland announced a surprise crossover event between Dying Light 2 and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. The zombie survival game will be getting exclusive items from the acclaimed first-person shooter.

The studio revealed the latest crossover titled "Undead or Alive" which is coming to Dying Light 2 on May 31 and will run until June 7. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was released in 2013 and is celebrating its tenth anniversary. The upcoming event will add Call of Juarez-themed items and enemies to the open world of Dying Light 2.
Players will get a chance to earn the "Gunslinger-themed Boomstick AKA Mean-ass gun." The weapon will only be obtainable during the upcoming event. Gamers have a chance to find the gun around Special Infected (except Virals), Postal Vans, Ambulances, and Military Trucks.
Fans of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger can also acquire exclusive items including Ray McCall’s charm, Dynamite, and machete-like Bowie Knife (both weapon and blueprint). Players can also complete certain goals during the crossover event to earn 25 Pilgrim Tokens to exchange for gear at the Pilgrim Outpost website.

Techland is also selling the Gunslinger Bundle for $6.99 and features a skin for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger protagonist Silas Greaves. The bundle also includes the Gunslinger Paraglider, the Dynamite blueprint, and the Bowie Knife weapon and blueprint.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is one of the best Western video games of all time with critics praising the storytelling, gunplay, and graphics. The game was a commercial success and was the second-best-selling title for Ubisoft in 2013.
The Dying Light franchise is also celebrating a huge milestone. The series has shipped over 30 million units as of 2023, highlighting the popularity of the Techland title.
The new crossover event will be very interesting for fans and players of both titles. Dressing up as a gunslinger and taking on Western-themed zombies. The upcoming event will be a must-play for gamers who own both titles.
The "Undead or Alive" crossover event will be one of many downloadable contents for Dying Light 2. Techland has said that it will be supporting the game for five years after launch.
Dying Light 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. A Switch port for the action RPG is still in development.
