The final trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is out

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will be the last of this March's slate of blockbuster films to hit theaters.


The Dungeons & Dragons movie is arriving at the end of the month. Paramount Picture just dropped its final trailer, giving fans an extended preview of the red dragon named Themberchaud.

Our heroes will try to avoid getting eaten by a giant red dragon.

In the latest Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves trailer, the misfit band of thieves narrowly avoids being eaten by dragons and other mythical creatures by using portals to move around and escape sketchy situations.

The funniest bit in the new trailer with when Chris Pine’s Edgin the Bard tries to ask a skeleton five questions to aid them in their quest as he wastes all his chances by asking the wrong questions.

In the trailer, we also get confirmation that Doric, played by Sophia Lillis, can shape-shift into several different creatures aside from an Owlbear.

The final teaser set the mood for the upcoming adaptation of the classic tabletop role-playing game. The movie promises audiences a fun and action-packed journey through the world of Dungeons & Dragons.

The plot of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

Edgin leads this band of thieves in an epic adventure across the Forgotten Realms.

Honor Among Thieves is about a group of thieves who set out on an epic adventure in the Forgotten Realms to correct a mistake they made. The thieves stole an item that has seemingly given rise to a powerful Necromancer and his army of Red Wizards.

The movie’s official description reads, "A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure."

The movie stars Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez alongside an ensemble cast of thieves who have to use all their skills and magic to stop the Red Wizard from destroying the world. The movie also casts Regé-Jean Page as Xenk the Paladin, Justice Smith as Simon the Sorcerer, Hugh Grant as Forge Fitzwilliam the Rogue, and Daisy Head as Sofina the Red Wizard of Thay.

The epic adventure will be premiering next week at SXSW.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will be making its premiere this weekend at SXSW and we will likely be seeing first reactions soon. Hopefully, Honor Among Thieves becomes the start of a film franchise for Dungeons and Dragons. It hits movie theaters on March 31.
