The same source from earlier reports doubled down on more Diablo 4 news coming at The Game Awards.


If you're eager to find out more about Diablo 4, we've got good news for you. It's believed that Blizzard Entertainment and the next Diablo game will be at The Game Awards.

If Diablo 4 comes out next year, it'll come just a year short of the 12-year gap between Diablo 2 and 3, which came out in 2000 and 2013, respectively.

Following up on earlier reports, the same source claims journalists and influencers got to play Diablo 4. The embargo on their impressions will lift on December 7, just before The Game Awards starts.

This lines up with an earlier report by Jez Corden where he claims Blizzard will announce the pre-order of Diablo 4 next week ahead of its release in April. Corden has since clarified his initial info was more of a window. According to Corden, Diablo 4 could launch within eight weeks of the initial date.

Given everything we've heard about Diablo 4, we're thankful the wait for the next big news about the game isn't too far off.

Diablo 4 is easily one of the most highly anticipated games that's set to come out next year. After several delays, we might finally get a chance to play. Hopefully, the success of Diablo Immortal hasn't changed Blizzard's initial plans for Diablo 4.
