Gameplay Throughout the game Nathan, controlled by the player, will have to fight pirates, using both melee weapons and firearms, and explore ancient ruins by jumping the cliffs, climbing the walls and swinging from the ropes. Interesting Facts	Controlling the player characters, the bear Banjo and the bird Kazooie, the player attempts to save Banjo’s kidnapped sister Tooty from the witch Gruntilda. The game features nine three-dimensional worlds where the player must gather musical notes and jigsaw puzzle pieces, called Jiggies, to progress. Banjo-Kazooie is very open and allows the player to collect Jiggies and musical notes in a nonlinear order. Banjo and Kazooie can perform many abilities, such as jumping, climbing, ground-pounding, swimming, flying, and rolling into enemies. The game has a total of 14 special moves. There are two types of collectible shoes that provide temporary abilities: Turbo Trainer and Wellington boots. Mumbo Jumbo can use magical powers to transform them into several creatures. Banjo-Kazooie is occasionally included in “best games” lists by video game publications.	The game follows Nathan Drake, the supposed descendant of explorer Sir Francis Drake, as he searches for the lost treasure of El Dorado with journalist Elena Fisher and mentor Victor Sullivan. The development of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune began in 2005. Gameplay in Uncharted is a combination of action-adventure gameplay elements and some 3D platforming with a third-person perspective. These third-person perspective elements were compared by several reviewers to Gears of War. The game also features reward points, which can be gained by collecting 60 hidden treasures in the game. The game features a fairly large variety of weapons Drake can acquire in various locations. When engaging enemies up close, the player can have Drake perform melee attacks, such as the Brutal Combo, which are carried out by button sequences. Vehicle segments are another feature in the game. The game is set mostly on an uncharted island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, somewhere off the coast of Peru.
