Cyberpunk 2077 is slowly living up to its potential after a year's worth of updates and fixes. Unfortunately, all of the performance issues and bugs bogged down the development of all additional content for Cyberpunk 2077.
As a result, CD Projekt RED opted to delay the initial piece of story DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 until 2023, much to the dismay of the game's fans. But, after months of silence, it appears that CDPR is finally ready to reveal more about the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 expansion.
The latest word from the grapevine is that CDPR will be at Gamescom 2022 on August 23 to announce the name and release date of the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC.
Although CDPR has not confirmed its presence at the event, it has teased its involvement in recent weeks. Cyberpunk 2077's Twitter account recently tweeted "When Cyberpunk-Expansion" in German. It's worth noting that Gamescom has always been held in Cologne, Germany. Several key individuals working at CD Projekt RED also replied to the same tweet, suggesting that a reveal is imminent.
The good news is that Gamescom 2022 is only a few days away, so we won't have to wait to find out if Cyberpunk 2077 will be at the event or not.
