March 24 can't come sooner. Survival horror game fans will finally get a chance to play the remake of the best Resident Evil game ever in a little over two weeks. If the long wait is killing you, Capcom has what you need.
A newly released Resident Evil 4 Alternate Reality Game (ARG), codenamed "Baby Eagle", is available to play online for free. It isn't a fleshed-out title but more of a puzzler.
However, Resident Evil fans will appreciate the appetizer. Just like in the upcoming game, your mission in the ARG is to find the president's daughter, Ashley Graham. She's also the missing girl that Leon will attempt to rescue from a village full of crazed Las Plagas-infected citizens somewhere in Spain.
The ARG will have you assisting with Leon's case by decrypting reports and organizing other pieces of evidence, including photographs, that are related to the kidnapping.
Mind you, this ARG is not a walk in the park, which is a good sign for those who want the Resident Evil 4 Remake to present a challenge.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake is a continuation of Capcom's current development cycle. After the Resident Evil series fizzled out following the release of Resident Evil 6, Capcom went back to the drawing board and reinvented the series with a new FPS entry, Resident Evil: Biohazard.
Afterward, Capcom released remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3 before releasing Resident Evil Village. This trend has led fans to believe that Capcom will remake the much-maligned Resident Evil 5 (the one that sees Chris punching a huge boulder) after Resident Evil 4.
It remains to be seen if that is the case but Capcom has confirmed that a VR mode of the Resident Evil 4 remake is coming to the PSVR2. Unfortunately, Capcom didn't confirm how long after the Resident Evil 4 remake rolls out on March 24 will the VR mode be out.
