With Resident Evil 4 Remake coming out in a few days, Capcom is already ramping up the marketing for the title. Instead of releasing a final trailer for the upcoming game, the developer has decided to unveil a catchy short anime episode featuring Leon Kennedy and Ashley Graham.

Capcom’s new anime is titled "Resident Evil 4 Anime PV Resident Evil Masterpiece Theater - ‘Leon and the Mysterious Village’ EP 1." The entire episode runs for only 56 seconds but is something that will surely capture the attention of gamers.
Some anime fans may be familiar with the animation style as the short clip was made by the renowned Japanese studio Nippon Animations. The studio is best known for World Masterpiece Theater, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and Anne of Green Gables.
The short trailer shows Leon searching for Ashley in a mysterious village. The residents of the village have reddish eyes and speak in a language that Leon does not understand. He is then hilariously attacked by one resident wielding an axe, causing rainbows to come out of his head. Leon mentions that dying is the story of his life.
Resident Evil 4 fans were thrilled to discover the cute anime for the popular survival horror game with viewers showing their interest in watching an entire anime series of Resident Evil Masterpiece Theater.
Unfortunately, this is most likely a one-off anime for Resident Evil 4. But, who knows? Capcom isn't above listening to fans. If this animated trailer gains enough traction, Capcom could release a short animated film or even an original Resident Evil series animated in the same style.
For now, gamers waiting on the launch of Resident Evil 4 Remake can download and play the short twenty-minute demo. Players can also try to beat the secret hard mode. Mad Chainsaw Mode.
