Season 2 of Cold War Zombies offers a variety of new content for both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War and features a new limited-time event called the Outbreak event. If you participate in this event and complete the given challenges both in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, you can earn exclusive rewards that are completely missable once the event is over.
The Outbreak event is split into both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. Although it has been added as a new game mode in Black Ops Cold War Zombies, it is a limited-time event. There are 18 challenges - 9 challenges for Warzone and 9 for the Outbreak game mode in Black Ops Cold War.
In this guide, we have listed down all the challenges and the reward for each challenge completion. We have also separately listed them down for both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War for convenience.
The event will last until March 11, but the Outbreak game mode will stay in Black Ops Cold War Zombies as a new game mode. According to Treyarch, there is the main easter egg planned for the Outbreak game mode for Season 3.
Warzone Challenges
You can complete these challenges in both Battle Royale and Plunder mode in any order. You can also complete a small easter egg associated with the Outbreak event. Feel free to check out our complete guide on how to do that here.
