Blizzard confirms minimum and recommended PC requirements for Diablo 4

Given that Diablo 4 will also be available on older consoles, it's not surprising that the hardware requirements on the PC is quite reasonable.


Blizzard Entertainment shared the minimum and recommended PC requirements for the Diablo 4 open beta during its most recent live stream.

We're curious to see if Diablo 4 will be out before Microsoft acquires Activision Blizzard.

Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 / AMD Radeon R9 280
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500L or AMD FX-8100
  • Memory: 8GB
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 45GB
  • Internet: Broadband connection

Recommended System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / AMD Radeon RX 370
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K / AMD R3-1300X
  • Memory: 16GB
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 45GB
  • Internet: Broadband connection
To be honest, we wouldn't mind if Blizzard Entertainment delayed Diablo 4 if it felt like it needed more polishing.

Blizzard Entertainment has been through hell and back trying to push Diablo 4 out. It's believed that the studio is crunching hard to meet the current June 5 release date of Diablo 4.

There are also reports suggesting that Diablo 4 will be delayed, but this isn't confirmed yet.

Outside of the game's development, Activision Blizzard has been subject to much scrutiny and controversy in the past few years. In addition, Microsoft is actively trying to acquire Activision Blizzard for $70 billion.

If we're being honest, we're surprised that Diablo 4 looks as polished as the early previews are saying.

With that said, there's plenty of anticipation surrounding the second open beta for Diablo 4. It should give players a better look at the game months ahead of its release. More importantly, it will serve as a good litmus test for Blizzard to decide if it should delay Diablo 4 or not.
