Andy Bogard Shows his Ninjutsu in King of Fighters XV

SNK has released a new character trailer for The King of Fighters XV, featuring one of the franchise's iconic fighters, Andy Bogard, younger brother of Terry Bogard and famous for his aerial Ninjutsu moves in the classic games of the series. Andy is the eighth fighter confirmed for the new KOF.

Bone-breaking elbow is back at high resolution.

Previous videos have shown Benimaru Nikaido, Meitenkun, and Shun'ei from Team Hero, Joe Higashi, Kyo Kusanagi, Iori Yagami, and Chizuru Kagura.

In the trailer you can watch above, you can check out Andy's characteristic look and moves in fights against Joe Higashi and other fighters.

Andy's move set is pretty similar to the previous games. His Koppouken fighting style specialized in breaking bones is identifiable in the elbow blows Joe suffers in the trailer. When Andy learned Shiranui-ryuu Ninjutsu with Hanzo Shiranui, his range of abilities increased, demonstrated by the Hishouken, a glowing sphere that utilizes Andy's Chi. Kuuha Dan is another iconic ability of the character, that one corkscrew kick which disarms enemies who love to jump around during battle. Both skills have their Super Move version and it's as flashy as the others.

The King of Fighters XV is set to release in 2021, but so far no platforms have been announced yet. King of Fighters XIV was released for PS4 in 2016 and later on in 2017 for Steam.
