Audiences have been very curious about the John Wick spin-off, Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas. However, it can't be a John Wick spin-off without John Wick himself appearing in it, right? Now, we have new information that Mr. Wick will appear in the spin-off and even fight against de Armas' character.
Ana de Armas went on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss her recent Golden Globe nomination in the Netflix movie Blonde.
"We've been in Prague filming for four months. We still have one more month to go," the actor shares. "And I'm in pain. You know, my body, my back, everything hurts."
Jimmy Fallon points out that de Armas had stunts in the James Bond flick No Time to Die. The actor responds, "Well, Bond was fifteen minutes. This is a whole movie, another level."
"But the other day, Keanu and I were rehearsing our very difficult stunt scene, and this man is just rolling and throwing me and doing crazy stunts," de Armas continues. "And I'm like – I can't complain anymore, I’m done. Because he is doing it!"
The actor said that Reeves never complains about doing his own stunts. "He truly is the best," she adds.

Reeves is known for doing his own stunts in his movies. The actor reportedly jumped off a 46-story building 20 times during the filming of The Matrix: Resurrections in order to get the stunt right.
The John Wick star also trained in gunplay with Taran Butler and the team at Taran Tactical for the John Wick series. Halle Berry also trained with the same gun instructor for John Wick 3. It wouldn’t surprise us if de Armas also went to the same training school for her role in Ballerina.
The John Wick spin-off Ballerina started filming in November and de Armas has mentioned that they still have one more month to go before production wraps up. The upcoming spin-off will include appearances from John Wick series mainstays Ian McShane as Winton and Lance Reddick as Charon. Anjelica Huston also returns to the franchise as "The Director."
Joining Ballerina are actors Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus, and Catalina Sandino Moreno. Their roles in the movie haven't been revealed. The film will be directed by Len Wiseman with Shay Hatten and Emerald Fennell writing the screenplay.
The film will reportedly take place between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4.
