One of the most popular games from the Resident Evil franchise is confirmed to be coming to Xbox One, and Series X. Resident Evil 4 Remake is a remake of the original released in 2005. The game was widely popular and is still a fan favorite up to this day.

The reimagined version of Resident Evil 4 will have detailed graphics thanks to Capcom's proprietary RE Engine, delivering modernized gameplay, similar to their other games like the Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remakes. Resident Evil 4 features some of the most iconic Resident Evil characters, including Leon, Ada Wong, Ashley, Luis, and Ingrid, among others.
The game has not been officially announced or confirmed to be available for last-gen consoles, but it seems that a listing has confirmed the arrival of the remake on last-gen Xbox consoles as well. A Reddit user, u/Lucaz82 on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, shared the Amazon link to pre-order the Xbox One version of the game.
It is a significant find as the game was officially confirmed for PS4 but not the Xbox One. According to the listing, it is assumed that Resident Evil 4 Remake will also be coming to the Xbox One. The confusion started with the remake's announcement during the Tokyo Game Show 2022, where Capcom announced that the game would only be available on the PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox S|X consoles.
Twitter user JamieMoranUK mentioned that the listing had been up for almost a month, with people just noticing it now.
Yep people up for a month https://t.co/hCUGbb0kEy

According to DuskGolem, a Capcom and Konami insider, the remake was always planned for last-gen and new-gen consoles. DuskGolem is a reliable insider, as he also recently corroborated his leaks with a new unannounced Silent Hill game rating in South Korea.
I'm not going to say too much, but Capcom have chosen to be a bit weird w/console stuff for Resident Evil Village & now RE:4. Just for the record, RE:4 was always planned for PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Xbox Series, PC, just how they announce it publicly is a bit bizarre. https://t.co/GAtV3MHfhK

The reason for not announcing it is still unclear. However, it seems it has something to do with their marketing strategy. The Resident Evil showcase is scheduled for October 2022, where we will learn more about the Resident Evil series, including the Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Delaying the proper announcement would make sense regarding marketing, as the showcase is just around the corner. Revealing more information about one of their most popular title during the showcase makes the most sense.
Additionally, the listing also reveals the price of the game. According to the listing, the game will cost ÂŁ59.99 and will be released on March 24, 2023.
