How can the wizarding world of Hogwarts Legacy be complete without a treasure hunt? Hogwarts Legacy allows you to embark on many different treasure hunts once you collect relevant treasure maps.
That's right. In Hogwarts Legacy, you can find treasure maps that lead you to valuable treasure, given you can find the clues provided on the treasure maps. There are a total of seven treasure maps in Hogwarts Legacy.
In this guide, we show you the locations of all the treasure maps, the relevant puzzle solutions, and the final location of the treasure itself.
Cache in the Castle
The Cache in the Castle is a side quest that you can start by speaking with Arthur Plummly near the Charms Classroom floo flame in the Astronomy Wing.
Go up to Arthur and talk to him.
He will give you a treasure map. The treasure map will have sketches of different landmarks you must find to get to the treasure.
First, fast travel to the Transfiguration Courtyard floo flame in the Astronomy Wing.
After fast traveling, turn around and go through the door to enter the Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower.
Go up the stairs, and you will find your first landmark, which is the Rhinoceros skeleton display.
Next, go back downstairs and back outside to the Transfiguration Courtyard (or fast travel back to the same floo flame). You will find a dragon fountain in the middle of the courtyard.
After that, walk past the fountain, and you will find double doors leading to the North Hall.
As you go up, you will come across a painting on your way up. You will notice that this portrait will be the same as the one seen on the treasure map.
The painting will disappear, revealing a door that will automatically open.
Ghost of Our Love
Ghost of Our Love is another treasure map quest you can find on top of an Owlery tower located just outside Hogwarts Castle.
Go to the tower and climb to the top to find the map. The quest will begin as soon as you pick it up.
The map will show you some candles, a sketch of a bridge, an archway, and the Lumos spell icon.
First, fast travel to the Forbidden Forest entrance floo flame.
From here, go to the bridge next to it. You will notice there is a love letter on the bridge.
Stand next to the bridge where you pick up the love letter and equip Lumos spell.
Follow the candles as they take you deep within the Forbidden Forest.
The enchanted candles will keep going until they finally make a stop at a dining spot with some more enchanted candles hovering around the table and chairs.
A chest will spawn at the dining spot. Open the chest to retrieve Treasure-Seeker's Scarf.
Well, Well, Well
You will find another side quest marker southeast of Aranshire in the South Hogwarts Region.
When you approach the well, you will hear a voice. This is the Magical Well speaking to you.
After some dialogue, the Magical Well will give you a treasure map with the location of the next treasure.
For this one, go to the marker shown on the map below. The location is in the Feldcroft Region just south of Irondale Hamlet.
You will find a tree that will automatically be highlighted as you approach it.
Equip Levioso and cast it on the tree for it to float in the air. It will reveal a chest containing your treasure.
