Aliens Fireteam Elite: Release Date, Trailer, Gameplay, and More

Following the success of 2014's Alien: Isolation, as well as the relative success of 2017's Alien: Covenant, fans have been asking for more Aliens media. Video games, in particular, seem to be in high demand. 7 years later, it seems like audiences are finally going to get what they want.

Just like Hicks and his company, Aliens: Fireteam Elite will put you in the shoes of a Colonial Marine.

Aliens: Fireteam, which was recently renamed Aliens: Fireteam Elite, is a more frenetic take to the franchise's classic survival horror formula. But, make no mistake, this is still very much an Alien game.

The glimpses of Fireteam Elite we've seen so far include a closer look at the same civilization and architecture that we saw in Covenant, as well as 2012's Prometheus, with the game featuring a more diversified look for the aliens, and the dangerous Weyland Yutani androids potentially in the game as well.

With so much information about Fireteam Elite floating around, we've decided to round up everything there is to know about the game, from the release date to trailers, gameplay, story, and more.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is set 23 years following the events of the original Aliens trilogy and will feature four distinctively different campaigns that will expand on the story of the Alien universe.

Throughout the four campaigns in Aliens: Fireteam Elite, players can expect to encounter over 20 types of enemies and 11 Xenomorphs.

Cold Iron Studios made sure to design each enemy type to possess its own unique trait and intelligence. The game will reportedly force players to utilize strategy, cover, and keep their eyes out for sneaky aliens that will attack from any and every angle.
