In case you didn't know, Warzone 2.0 will be available on Steam.

If you thought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was a raging success, wait until Warzone 2.0 drops.

The sequel to the most profitable game of the past two years will amp up the battle royale ante. As pre-loading for the game officially begins, Activision Blizzard dropped a trailer set to Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd and it's nothing short of glorious.

As we've already mentioned, Warzone 2.0 is the official follow-up to the first game, which came out two years ago.

On top of refining and improving the free battle royale experience, Warzone 2.0 will bring in a new map, Al Mazrah, a sprawling desert terrain featuring several environments from cities to rivers and even small towns. However, the highlight of Warzone 2.0 is the DMZ mode, which takes inspiration from Escape From Tarkov, a tactical FPS that has the features of an MMO and RPG.

Although Warzone 2.0 is a sequel to Warzone, the original game will still exist once it comes out tomorrow, November 16.

Unlike earlier rumors, Warzone 2.0 is not going to be exclusive to next-gen consoles.

Activision Blizzard confirmed that it will continue supporting the first game going forward, which it has renamed to Warzone Caldera.
