Alpha Prime: Worst Shooter Ever?
| This is like 10 minutes of gameplay from Alpha Prime and basically touches on all the reasons why it sucks. It is absolutely impossible to aim properly in this game. This is due to several reasons, but mainly because the game seems to render all controls sluggishly and the slightest tap of the mouse (even at the low sensitivity like mine is set to) seems to move the reticle in a jarring way. Huge fucking glare from both your weapon and the environment obscures targets. I am really trying to aim in this video but it is next to impossible. Speaking of controls, it seems that every time you touch a wall your character slows way the hell down. Makes trying to dodge the enemies (which appear to be aimbotting) a little difficult. Not to mention the way falling damage scales; watch me take a couple falls earlier in the movie and then watch the lethal one (100 -> 0 HP) at the end. There is hardly any difference in distance between the two. And for god's sake, don't get me started on the cutscenes. |
