The 92-Weapon Dreadnaught+more
| After reading about a Hiver dreadnaught being able to hold 92 small mount weapons (more than any other ship) I went and filled a design with 92 pulse phasers (also some beams, as nothing else can fit in beam mounts), I also made a design with Pulse Phasers in small mounts and medium/large mounts filled with DF Racks. Here's both of them plus a meson projector cruiser, a normal cruiser, and a Thumper-filled Armada CnC assaulting an almost undefended enemy colony. Before getting within range of the planet I had to kill a DE and a DE gate. After the colony was dead a Repair Station remained, which I did not find (but destroyed when auto-resolving next turn's battle.) |
