| Darkness falls. The cities are labyrinths of polished steel and broken pavement. The woods are impenetrable and monstrous. In the shadows, being of myth and nightmare flight never-ending wars. This world is a dark reflection of our postmodern reality. The landmarks are familiar, but the shadow are longer and people toil under the yoke of paranoia and fear. It's a place where hope fades and where superstition carries more weight than reason. The aesthetic of this world is Gothic-Punk, where ornate and monolithic Gothic ideals meet pierced flesh and worn leather. Although few mortals ever see the shadow cultures that lurk around them, all are subject to the whims of the other-world. In the darkness vampires, ghosts , werewolves, sorcerers and hunter conspire. Their intrigues surpass anything to which folklore could aspire. This World of Darkness is myth incarnate. | |
