In 2022 A.D. mankind finally decreases the whole earth atmosphere caused by their dissipative attitude. Chaotic storms ravage over Mother Nature’s face while in summer and spring the ultraviolet radiation forces the people into hiding. 2038: The Earth government decides to built the Squall I, an artificial atmosphere to secure the people from the UV radiation. 2042: After only 4 years of construction Squall I is activated. With a new technology – a compressing tachyon generator – the mankind is saved from the UV radiation while people still profit from the sunlight. 2068: In the CERN- exploratory complex in Switzerland scientist create a new technology for interstellar travelling: the PostGate technology is funded. By using artificial wormholes, a small sensor is sent million light years away to an unknown planet. The planet gets the name of the founder of the new technology: ‘Dorian I’ 2075: Leading astrophysicist develop a plan to build a bigger version of the PostGate to allow people interstellar travelling. 2078: The construction process of the first PostGate begins. 2084: The construction process of the PostGate is nearly finished. On the first test run the Spaceship ‘New Frontiers’ reaches ‘Dorian I’ within seconds and sends a message via HyperNet, an over light speed broadcast standard, from the as ‘Carneth-Sector’ known quadrant. 2103: More than 80 years have passed since the collapse of the atmosphere until a planet with similar environmental conditions is found. ‘Alastair‘, named after Alastair Cameron the well known astrophysicist, seems to be the first serious colonization planet. The natural ecosystem is comparable to the original earth ecosystem and has something the most humans nearly forgot: Winter. 2105: After long a long controversy in the new formed IG – the Interstellar Government – the council decides to colonize ‘Alastair’ – on one side as a pilot project, on the other side to give the growing mankind a profitable vacation resort. 2115: 10 years have passed since the fist colonization of ‘Alastair’ and caused by social prestige the planet has become a reliable resort for different cultural classes. While some are seeking for relaxation in the hot springs of ‘Oblivion’, many others start to look for dangerous extreme sport challenges. This Kids, known as Snowboarders, warp their selves into the reckless sailings to find the ‘King of boarding’. |
