The world was being kept in order by the two elements, creating and extinction. There were two gods who were in charge of those two elements that were more respected and trusted than the other gods. They thought the human race was too ignorant to develop its own civilization so they sent the Deva and Asura to assist the human race. The Deva represented lightness and the Asura represented darkness. After some ups and downs, the Gaia-human beings-became settled. Tragically, the Gaia became unsettled when a woman who called herself 'the witch' appeared. She disapproved of the sanctity that has been handed down from ancient times and claimed that the history of the Gaia had been distorted. She cried out that her words were true and that the Gaia should listen to her. Many people followed her words like religious fanatics, which in turn, put the Gaia into chaos. She was so powerful that the Gaia, Deva, and Asura had to put their strength together in order to fight her. And in the end, she was captured and burned alive. Years later... There was a suspicion that number of followers of the witch's words started to increase again. Some people among the Gaia began to make an attempt to find out if what the witch had said was true. |
