Hey people, Xfire doesn't register my Shaiya hours anymore. I did instal it in an other folder then usual so at first it didn't found the game at all. I'd use that manual detecting option and after that it worked perfectly. But two days after this xfire suddenly stoped registrating it. I can see it in my installed games list but when I play it, it doesn't show up in my status, which means it isn't counting up as you might know. Does anyone have experienced the same and knows an awnser to it? If so then please help me. An interesting fact might be that the Gameguard screen doesn't pop up when I start the game. Hello rollercoaster77, Have you tried manually detecting Shaiya again? • Go to your Tools | Options | Games tab. • Find the games you have on your system in the 'Not installed' list OR the ‘Installed Games’ list. • Highlight the game name by clicking on it and then click the "Manual Setup" radio button. • Click 'Browse'. • Find the folder that your game is installed to and click 'Ok'. • Click 'Apply'. Check your Tools | Launch menu to verify that the game is now listed, can be launched from there, and that your status in Xfire says the name of your game when the game is running (alt+tab to check). Manual detecting again didn't help. I'm having the same problems as this guy: http://www.xfire.com/forums/182686/topic/1476457/ but I'm still using Windows XP After the game downloaded an update for itself xfire doesn't detect it anymore when I'm playing it. It DOES show up on my instaled games list and I'm also able to launch it from Tools | Launch. It just won't show up in my status. You'd like to know where I installed it, well this is the 'file path': C:\Program Files\AeriaGames\Shaiya And this is the file path I set to manual detect it: C:\Program Files\AeriaGames\Shaiya So I really don't know what it is I'm doing wrong here... Maybe it's cuased by that new update, which means that the fault lays with AeriaGames. I really don't know... _______________ Hardstyle 4 Life! |

We'd like to test the new update here to see if we can reproduce the problem you're experiencing. Please tell us the full version number of the updated Shaiya that you're running. Also explain if it's a certain country version (EU, US, etc...). Was the update automatic or did you have to go somewhere to download it? Thanks! _______________ |

Well for as far as I can find out the full version number of my Shaiya game is: 1.17.2.0 It's the North American Client 2009-05-08. And this is where I downloaded it: http://www.gamershell.com/download_49582.shtml As I said earlier it worked just fine at the beginning, but after a few days it AUTOMATICALLY updated itself and since then the problem started. rollercoaster77, We're having trouble identifying which version you're actually playing. There seems to be a US version AND a German version. The installers both seem to be in English, but when you get to the end of the German installation, the language changes. Please go to the link you provided: http://www.gamershell.com/download_49582.shtml?gr_i_ni and tell us which mirror you used. There are nine different ones. I don't know what you exactly mean with mirror, but I'll try to give you the best info for as far as I can find. Firstly I downloaded it here: http://www.gamershell.com/download_49582.shtml which is the same link as I gave you befor. You're wondering which version I picked. Well that is very easy, because it says on the top of the page Shaiya North American Client (2009-05-09), which I think means the same as US. rollercoaster77, The Game Support was able to find the problem installer last week and they've since fixed the issue. The fix will be released in a Game Update later this week. Please post back here after the Game Update (should be tomorrow sometime if all goes well) to let us know if you're still having trouble detecting your version of Shaiya. Thanks! _______________ |
