I have the Logitech MX500 mouse, on the left side it has 2 buttons, those 2 buttons do not function in games anymore since the 1.50 update. I tried this is WoW with Xfire running and they do nothing, I alt+tab to windows, close Xfire and jump back to WoW and they work, I then loaded up Xfire again and then the 2 buttons wouldn't work in game anymore. Don't know why this patch did that but please fix this because it is annoying not being able to have Xfire open for my friends to contact me while playing and I can't play without those 2 buttons since they are bound to important functions in game so I have to keep Xfire closed. I hope you guys fix this soon.

Seems like they re-did the key binding as now it handles left control as CTRL and right control as Right CTRL, so I needed to re-bind my keys as I could before use my right ctrl when it was only CTRL as the left key...

Thanks for the report.

It is likely a conflict between Xfire In Game and Mouseware or setpoint software.

We'd like to know exactly which driver software you are running so we can reproduce the problem here.

I am using the Mouseware 9.79.1 and have been since their release. I even tried an uninstall and reinstall of the drivers wish a freshly downloaded version of the drivers but no luck. Not sure what happened with the update to mess with the functionality of the mouse in games but hope it's resolved soon, until then the only resolve I see is turning off my Xfire when I play games. Hope you guys figure out the problem.

I'm using the MX518 with the latest 2.47 setpoint drivers and I have no problems at all. One of my side buttons is bound through BF2 as my parachute and the other is bound through setpoint to take my xfire screenshots. Neither have given me issues since the update.

Same issue here:
MX500
Mouseware 9.79

I use button 3 for reloading in CS, BF2, HL2, etc... and it no longer works while xfire is running. I tried to re-configure my controls but the button isn't recognized when I click it. I know that in UT2004 buttons 2 and 3 are recognized as right and left, respectively, on the keyboard arrows.

They work fine in web browsers while xfire is running, just not in-game.

We are going to be doing some testing with setpoint and the Logitech keyboards.

We'll see what we can do about Mouseware.

If you weren't running Mouseware, you wouldn't see this problem but then you wouldn't be able to bind keys etc.

I will get back to you when more info is available.

I am experiencing the same problem. Have spent a good 25 hours troubleshooting the problem, and from what I can tell it is not being caused by XFire. Unless Xfire made some sort of perminate change tot he regisrty that does not get undone when you uninstall it?? I completly removed Xfire, and am still experiencing the problem. I have placed three calls into logitech about the problem and they are rainbowsen clueless... nor do they even care. When I said to the tech support guy this was the second logitech mouse that I have had issues with, he responded by asking me "So why do you keep buying logitech". So I would not look for much help to be coming from them. Try uninstalling Xfire, and then see if the problem still persists. Am very curious to see if others still have the same problem even after removing xfire.
