a fair bit has changed from the dull boring battlefields of Europe, in Vietnam there's tones more the damage effects have been tweaked, helicopters have been added, new planes, weapons, vehicles, maps, etc also a radio has been added for your own custom music, which is good cause it looks madd when ur flying around with awesome music on killing the enemy, also with the shovel your press G to pick up a spawn hole, spawn holes are a small mound of dirt with a trap door and shovel in it, u pick these up and place them near strategic locations so u don't have to spawn miles away from the frontiers (though in Vietnam i guess there never was a front line) should you go out and buy it hell yer!, its sunshine cheap these days but when u get it don't upgrade to 1.21 stay on 1.2 better gaming i reckon, u will probably have to get it on E bay, well here in Aus they don't sell it on shelves no more, SO BUY IT FOOLS! also want to join a vietnam clan check http://vietnam4life.wetpaint.com/ _______________ Shit Happens, Get On With It 24/7 Hardcore BFV Gamer |

Bringing an old topic alive again ?  A side note to dacam22, there is no need to run v1.2 because of better gaming compared to v1.21 ... I admit I had to smile ... again ... don´t feel personal attacked, but I am tired of these lame excuses. v1.2 clans and servers came up, primarely due to kids looking for a niche to go off the mainstream of BfV gamers, furthermore these days either on ebay, any shop or via download, you receive a full install set of v1.2 only. Means you need to look into the net to download the 1.21 patch. Some players fail to understand this difference. EA/DICE never build a CD set of v1.21 for retail. Promoting to play v1.2 is just wrong, has no background and splits the decreasing community of BfV players even more. Check it out, install yourself a 1.21 copy and check the ingame server browser and count the servers you will find. Plenty more than some lost v1.2 servers ... Professional BfV gamers are found on v1.21 servers only. Did you ever question yourself why most of the 1.2 servers run without anti cheat protection tools ...

Even then sometimes there isnt a server running in 1.2 if there is there are no more than 10

What are you ever talking about? Most of the top 10 server's are in 1.2 and always have 25+ people in it. Besides the helicopter people in 1.21 are noobs who seatswitch(from watch I have faced in 1.21). _______________ |

ok i see where ur coming from hunterbfv, i may have been at bit hasty at the time of that post, but i have played on 1.21 rly there is no difference except the glitches and bugs they fixed, also not all the professionals are on 1.21, there a few few on 1.2, not many but still there are some and usually at least 1 server will have a fair amount of players eg. 20+ _______________ Shit Happens, Get On With It 24/7 Hardcore BFV Gamer |

Well that's partially due to the fact, that most people in 1.2 do not know how to update their Punkbuster.

besides of bfv still being one of the best and funniest games out there, there is (sry to say for u 1.2 players) no reason to keep 1.2 alive at all. from my point of view, 1.2 is not really challenging for a good pilot. if ya wanna fly with/against or learn from rly good pilots, update to 1.21 (just for the record, i dont need to switch seats, check out my vids on xfire/youtube). however, if you prefer to play infantry, 1.2 isnt a good choice as well. the servers run without punkbuster, so many players use hacks. if ya prefer to play fair, update to 1.21 (not knowing how to update pb is a sad excuse for all those non-pb servers cuz it takes like 2 mins to explain how to update pb). keep it alive, guys
