its a better purchase than L4D2 or MW2. Srly the game roxx Capcom did everything right.

-free online gaming based on live
-keyboard and mouse and you can switch at any moment to the controller without options.
-The control roxx on keyboard you can switch weapons to each number.
-better graphics and real 3D Vision support.
-40 bucks and uncut
-the console version is sunshine

when i got my copy i have seen this huge pile of resi5s. And how long is the game out 1 month? I am sure the game is going to fail in sales and people will tell then PC gaming is dying yade yade Capcom did a great port for a console based game so i want keep them in the PC market. This is a order go buy resi5.

I got it shortly after release, but after finishing it, there wasn't any real reason to keep playing.
It's a good game, but 0 - 3 were much better games imo.

I bought it some time ago. I hated it. The game-play was horrible. Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't get used to it.

I do want to try it. I don't have through the roof expectations of the game of all time, but it looks like a fun time from what I've seen, and worth the $40.

I will add that with the right software, just about everything out there has 3D support. The NVidia 3D driver software is independent of the game, so it works with pretty much everything with high enough graphical quality to begin with. It is expensive software if I remember correctly though, and it requires a beast of a monitor. But I imagine that a Resi game would take more advantage of 3D, given its arcade roots.

I dont would go for it until fermi is out 3D vision takes a lot of performance. Even my setup gets in this game only 30fps with 3D vision. Capcom did a special support like in cutscenes even the logo appears on the box. Thats why it takes more than the other games.

It appears you don't understand how 3D Vision works. It must send an image to each eye. Your 30fps limitation is because of your 60Hz monitor. It doesn't matter if you have 2x 9600GT, 2x GTX295, or 2x Fermi Magically Appearing Edition. You have a 60Hz monitor, so you are limited to 30fps in 3D.

This is why 120Hz and 240Hz monitors exist. You would then have limits of 60 and 120fps respectively.

As far as I recall from the last thing I read, and from the looks of it this fellow above is verifying this, the only limiting factor on 3D was the monitor.

But also like I said, I suspect that Resident Evil 5 was made to use 3D at certain points, as it has always been a type of game that revels in the "jumping out at your face" style of bad guys.

I tried RE4 on the PC, since it was such a great game for the PS2, but I could NOT get used to the controls.

General rule of thumb here, don't buy a TPS for the PC, especially ones with controls such as RE5.

I'll be sticking to my PS3 version, thanks.

RE4 was a VERY flawed port, RE5 is not, the controls are working fine there.
And TPS are not much different than FPS, just naother perspective, but mouse control still is better.
