hey guys im kinda new to xfire, ive checked the faq for this problem, but nothing seems to fix it. none of the hotkeys (binding) work ingame. What OS? 32bit or 64bit? Windows Vist home premium 32 bit What Xfire Skin? Shadow What game is not working? Crossfire, however i havent tried in any other games Is the game on your Xfire Tools | Launch menu and can it be launched from there? yes What is your key bind set to? all defualt Is In Game messaging enabled? yes Can this game be run in different render modes? no If so, what renderer are you running? n/a What renderer do you have Xfire set to for this game? (How do I change the Xfire in Game renderer for my game?) Are you running Fraps? no Are you running a “No CD” patch or a mod to launch the game? no Does Xfire In-Game work for any of your other games? XIG works fine in F.E.A.R. and CombatArms What video card are you using? Intel(r)82945G Express Chipset Family What driver version for the video card? 7.14.10.1461 What version of DirectX? 9.0 ok i played FEAR multiplayer last nightt and it worked fine but still no luck with crossfire. _______________ |

I must have the same computer model as you because I have the exact specs for OS and video card. I had the same deal, but I was trying to have the in-game XIG stuff work for Last Chaos USA. I have the newer version of the video card driver (7.14.10.1504) and DirectX 10. All I did was restart my computer after I had everything set up and installed and it worked!

hi invadermissy thanks for your post, i've tried updating my video driver software via the device manager and it is telling me that it's up to date. same goes with my direct x. if you could post the sites where you got the updats from it'd be much appriciated. thanks.

Hello toohey13, It appears you're running Windows Vista. Unfortunately Xfire in Game is disabled for Cross Fire in Vista only. In Windows XP it works fine. Xfire should still track your game hours. We disable the Xfire in Game system on Vista for certain games that have very specific bugs or conflicts that we were unable to resolve. Of course we always strive to add Xfire In-Game support for all games on every system, but sometimes it simply isn't possible due to game or operating system limitations.
