update: The build Version for this Beta is 40100 -Webcam overlay has been added to XIG. To enable, go to tools > options > broadcast tab and select your cam from the pulldown list. Launch a game that supports XIG and enable your cam to be displayed from the edit mode (scroll lock + E by default) -Broadcast optimizations note: When starting a broadcast, a new dialog box will appear with the options to enable your webcam and/or record your live footage. Although the footage is being saved, it will not be displayed on our website until the website is updated. Beta Installation Instructions Download the Xfire Beta update from the link provided in the news post on the community front page. Exit Xfire. Copy xxxa.exe to your Xfire data installation directory For XP users c:\Program Files\Xfire\ For Vista users c:\ProgramData\Xfire\ and run it to update your Xfire. Note that these folders may be hidden on your system and will require you to make them visible. If you don't know how to do this, then you probably should not be attempting to beta test Xfire. |
