Please be as descriptive as possible. Brand of webcam, OS version, etc Note: Disconnecting webcam while enabled in XIG will require you to reconnect the cam and restart the cam from edit mode (scroll lock + E default) |

Webcam: Logitech QuickCam Chat OS: Windows 7 x64 (RC, build 7100) Game: Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Enabling and adjusting webcam while in game worked fine, disabling webcam in Edit mode froze the game completely; I had to kill the game process. So the moment I clicked on the "Enable Webcam" checkbox to clear it, the game stopped. No sound, no updates in graphics including Xfire in-game interface, not even mouse movement. This might be caused because this webcam is not officially supported on Windows 7 or even Windows Vista, but it might also be because of a bug in Xfire. I'm not going to buy a new webcam just to test Xfire features at this point |

Is there way to remove the "SCROLL LOCK + E to adjust" text from the webcam overlay?

An updated beta has been posted and can be downloaded from the link on the community news post located on the community homepage. The updated build is 40100 and should fix the 64bit game freeze when disabling the webcam. |

More of an observation than a bug report, but I do not see the use of the live video option on the initial screen before broadcasting. Whether or not the box is checked, the game feed and sound is broadcasted, so there is really no point in the option. Unless someone can explain its usefulness? Though, in my opinion, there is really no use in the initial box for the webcam either, because no matter what options you start with, you can turn on and off the webcam through the in-game interface. So why not leave that off as well (except that some people may not be willing to dig even that shallowly for the options list). Operating System: Win XP Pro SP3, 32 bit Game the bug occurred on: Team Fortress 2, Freelancer (Discovery Mod) Additional Info: Logitech QuickCam Messenger, using beta client version 40100 _______________ The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. ~Marcus Aurelius |

I like the option on enabling the Webcam right away from the Broadcast info screen, Did you even read the changelog? That "live video option" is telling Live stream if you want it to record (as well as broadcast) your live stream for later viewing, it gets saved on livestreams site and will have a section in Xfires site to view it (Livestream already has this with their own streaming programs it just a matter of integrating it with xfire). Now I am having intermittent problems of the Webcam not activating (just a blank black box where it is supposed to be) still trying to see if their is a pattern. _______________ ASUS M4A79T Deluxe | AMD Phenom II x3 720 BE AM3 @ 3.5Ghz(OC) | 4Gb DDR3 Memory @ 1600mhz | Sapphire ATI HD4870 1GB 800mhz/1000mhz(OC) | 2x500GB HDD's Raid 0 | Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Build 7600 (RTM) | Windstream DSL 12m(14.9m Sync)/600k(766k Sync) |
